Frequently Asked Questions

How early can I learn about your upcoming training schedule?

We aim to have our schedule available at least 3 months in advance of the training date. Due to space, we are limited in what we can share via our weekly emails, however our website does list trainings as they are confirmed with the trainer. If you see a training listed that you would like to attend, send an email to to ask to register.

Did I miss your early bird registration? When does that end?

Our early registration discounts end around one month prior to the date of training; this benefits us and you, by 1) giving us an anticipated number of attendees, and 2) giving a price break to you.

I didn't collect my certificate at the end of the training. Whom do I contact?

Send an email to and our admin will locate it, even if it occured 5 years ago! We aim to keep digital copies of all our certificates, and we keep binders of our sign-in sheets from all trainings; so if a digital copy is not on hand, we can verify your attendance and recreate your certificate.

Do I really need to sign the sheet, in and out, for continuing education?

Yes, it is vital for records keeping purposes. Each year we are required to report to the American Psychological Association (APA) to continue our sponsorship to provide continuing education hours for Psychologists. APA guidelines make it necessary to have your signature as a way to confirm that you attended the entire event, beginning to end, and are eligible for the continuing education hours, this also applies to those non-psychologists who wish to receive credit.
The CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) approves training from APA Approved Sponsors to provide continuing education credits to Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC), and Licensed Educational Psychologists (LEP).

I'm a student at this school, college, university, etc. Can I receive continuing education credits?

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." - I. Montoya
The continuing education I refer to is only applicable to continuing professional development of licensed mental health providers (Psychologists, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, and LEPs). This content is designed to build upon a completed degree. It is, however, not an acceptable substitute for college or university units.
It is an additional $15 fee to receive the certificate showing your attendance for the duration of the training.
